Pictured above are the the ladies of the Argylian Society of Knitters (or ASK) all of them caring and talented individuals that gather for knitting, fellowship, encouragement and sometimes some empathy every Wednesday night at the Argyle Fiber Mill.  I suppose I should mention that we also have plenty of snacks and a teensy bit of wine, but the wine is only to wash down the snacks!!
My Wednesday night with my knitting pals is very special to me, as are each and every one of the ladies that attends our "night out". 
I am sad to say that we gathered for this photo because one of our beloved group, Jen, is moving away to Tennessee.  Jen's husband got offered a wonderful career opportunity and since Jen works out of her home as a Physician's Assistant, they were able to accept this huge change in their life without too much trouble.   I love this photo of all of us, but while it makes me smile, it makes me sad too, because I am saying goodbye to someone that I will miss so much on Wednesday nights.  Because Jen sometimes shared my stupid sense of humor, ok, ok.....borderline sick sense of humor, I have a special place for her in my heart.  Here's to hoping that Jen, Chris and her 2 lovely girls are always blessed with love, success, prosperity and happiness no matter where they call home. 
You will always be able to call this place home too my dear friend.  God Bless.
